Carl Cusack

Carl Cusack possesses extensive experience in network infrastructure and telecommunications, currently serving as a Network Infrastructure Engineer at EXA Infrastructure since October 2020. In this role, Carl oversees the Ontario long-haul transport network, fiber optic facilities, and data center assets, while maintaining critical systems such as electrical power, HVAC, and surveillance. Prior to this, Carl worked as a Network Specialist at Eastlink, focusing on network maintenance for North American transport infrastructure, and as a Senior Network Technician at Shaw Communications, managing the installation and upkeep of national and international DWDM backbone infrastructure. Earlier career roles include Network Engineer at JCI Corporation, where Carl developed corporate network infrastructures, and IT and Telecom Instructor for the Department of National Defence, responsible for training military personnel in computing and networking. Carl's foundational education was acquired at the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics.
