Matt Angel

Matt Angel has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology. Matt is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Eterna Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Factor Bioscience Inc. which they led since its founding in 2011. Matt played a crucial role in growing the company's patent portfolio and directing its business and intellectual-property strategies. Additionally, they led efforts to pioneer new applications of their core technologies.

Matt Angel also co-founded Exacis Biotherapeutics in 2020 and served as the Scientific Advisory Board Chair. Matt was the Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at Novellus, Inc. from 2014 to 2021. Previously, they worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as an Associate Staff and Assistant Staff in the Biodefense Systems Group.

Matt Angel completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University, graduating in the year 2003. Matt then pursued a higher degree and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in the year 2011.
