Matteo Barnaba holds a PhD in Earthquake Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Trieste. Matteo has experience as a scientific and HPC software developer at eXact lab since 2022 and previously worked as a PhD student at the University of Trieste from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, Matteo provided tutoring for students with disabilities and taught private lessons in mathematics and scientific subjects between 2013 and 2015. Earlier in their career, Matteo served as the assistant port authority chief from 2010 to 2013 and studied high-performance computing at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics from 2021 to 2022.
