Andrea Blacklock

Andrea Blacklock, MD, is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in clinical pathology. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Pathology at Exact Sciences since November 2019, Andrea holds board certification from the American Board of Pathology as an AP/CP pathologist. Prior roles include working as a pathologist at Genomic Health from November 2013 to November 2019 and as a Laboratory Director and Pathologist at OPKO Health, Inc. from June 2013 to June 2015. Andrea’s extensive training includes fellowships and residency at UCSF, encompassing specialties in gastrointestinal and liver pathology, and surgical pathology. Earlier education includes a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and foundational studies in basic science and music education. Andrea has also contributed to publications in the field, including research on Alzheimer’s dementia.
