Cole Drifka

Cole Drifka is an experienced professional in biorepository and clinical services management, currently serving as Director of Global Clinical Sample Management & Services at Exact Sciences since February 2020. Drifka has a substantial background, having previously held roles as Associate Director and Senior Manager of Biorepository at the same company, where responsibilities included overseeing sample management and integrating biorepository facilities. Prior to Exact Sciences, Drifka was Program Director for Biorepository and Laboratory Services at the University of Minnesota, leading a centralized biorepository program and managing a $1.2 million annual budget. Additional experience includes roles at the Morgridge Institute for Research as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and various research positions at UW-Madison, earning a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. Drifka’s work has involved collaboration with diverse stakeholders, development of standard operating procedures, and implementation of innovative solutions in biobanking and research support.
