Eric Defever

Eric DeFever is a seasoned network engineer with extensive experience in network security, automation, and documentation. Currently serving as a Sr. Network Engineer at Exact Sciences since June 2020, Eric has focused on expanding networking and security oversight into AWS and Azure environments. Prior roles include Network Engineer II and Network Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting mergers and acquisitions, firewall rollouts, and providing operational support for various security devices and cloud platforms. Eric's previous experience includes a Sr. Network Engineer position at Duluth Trading Company and multiple roles at CDW, ranging from managing architectural labs to providing operational support for managed services. Eric holds an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Herzing University and has a solid foundation in technology dating back to work as a Network/Project Engineer at Axcess Computers.
