Hashem Alshurafa is currently the Vice President of Clinical Collaboration Management at Exact Sciences. Hashem has extensive experience in building cross-departmental relationships and driving teamwork to efficiently accomplish research goals.

Hashem began their career at Exact Sciences in January 2019 as the Vice President of Pipeline Clinical Collaborations Management. In this role, they were responsible for leading all corporate activities for pipeline partnerships and collaborations. Hashem was able to successfully establish strategies to meet research and clinical needs while also maintaining stakeholder interest in research projects and objectives.

One of Hashem's proudest contributions during their time at Exact Sciences was partnering with University of Wisconsin to advance key oncology products. Hashem was also able to contribute to organizational growth by building a strong team and recruiting top-qualified candidates.

Hashem's strong interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate mutually beneficial agreements have been essential to their success in their role at Exact Sciences. Hashem has demonstrated their dedication to their work and continues to be an asset to the company.

Hashem Alshurafa has a Ph.D. in Medical Science from McMaster University, an M.Sc. in Experimental Medicine from the University of Alberta, and a B.Sc.(honors) in Microbiology and Immunology from Dalhousie University.
