John Scanlon is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff to Dr. Jill Biden and a Strategic Advisor at Exact Sciences, where they focus on advancing innovation in cancer and women’s health. Previously, they served as a senior policy advisor in the Biden White House, contributing to significant initiatives such as the White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research and the Biden Cancer Moonshot. With a background in early career public service, John participated in various roles, including working with the Alaska House of Representatives and several campaigns, from 2015 to 2021. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame and also completed a semester in the Washington Program at The George Washington University.
