Julie Kim

Julie Kim possesses over ten years of industrial experience in bioinformatics, focusing on next-generation sequencing (NGS), non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), and genomics. Previously, they held positions as a Bioinformatics Scientist and later as a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Progenity, Inc., and are currently a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Exact Sciences. Julie also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, where they conducted research on DNA methylation and pathway analysis in cancer genomics. They earned a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
