Peter Yates

Peter Yates, Ph.D., currently serves as Pipeline Team Lead and Associate Director at Exact Sciences since August 2025. Prior to this role, Peter held various leadership positions at Lonza from February 2021 to September 2025, including Global Head of Commercial and Product Management for Personalized Medicine, where responsibilities encompassed leading the commercialization strategy for the Cocoon Platform and defining product roadmaps. Earlier experience includes roles at Miltenyi Biotec from November 2013 to February 2021, achieving multiple President's Club accolades while driving sales and customer engagement in cell and gene therapy. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Genetics, Molecular, and Cellular Biology from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota.
