Soo Lee

Soo Lee is a highly experienced bioinformatics professional currently serving as a Staff Bioinformatics Engineer at Exact Sciences since August 2022, with a prior role as Senior Bioinformatics Engineer and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist. In addition to this position, Soo Lee has been the Head Instructor of Introductory Bioinformatics at Harvard Extension School since August 2021, and previously led bioinformatics efforts as a Bioinformatics Lead at Laronde from October 2021 to March 2022. With a substantial tenure at Harvard Medical School from April 2012 to October 2021 as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist and Postdoctoral Associate, Soo Lee has also founded and operated Proboco Informatics, providing customized bioinformatics analysis services. Early career experiences include postdoctoral positions at Cornell University, the Korean Bioinformation Center, and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Boston University and a BS in Biological Sciences and Applied Mathematics from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
