Soroush Zarandi

Soroush Zarandi, PhD, MBA, has extensive experience in technology development and business strategy within the biotechnology sector. Beginning as a Technology Development Process Engineer at Intel, Soroush transitioned to Illumina, where roles included Associate Director of Corporate and Business Development, leading M&A transactions and strategic partnerships, particularly in oncology and multi-omics markets. Prior experience includes positions at BLIMC and Alcon, focusing on product leadership in medical technology. Currently, Soroush serves as Business Development Lead at Exact Sciences and as a member of the Industry Advisory Board at UC Irvine's Biomedical Engineering Department. Educational qualifications include an MBA from UC San Diego and advanced degrees in science and engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's degree from Iran University of Science & Technology.
