Steve Taylor

Steve Taylor is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Exact Sciences since April 2023, where responsibilities include leading SOC transformation and identity modernization in a regulated enterprise cloud environment. Prior to this role, Steve held key positions at Microsoft from January 2019 to April 2023, first as a Principal Cloud Solution Architect focused on security for federal customers, and previously as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect driving cloud security adoption. Steve's experience also includes work as a Senior Consultant, guiding security transformations in healthcare and public sectors, and a foundational role as a Communications Officer in the US Air Force, where network modernization efforts were directed across 18 bases. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy.
