YAO FU

Yao Fu is a bioinformatics expert with extensive experience in algorithm development, next-generation sequencing analysis, big data manipulation, and clinical interpretation. They served as an Associate Director at Pleno Inc. and are currently in a similar role at Exact Sciences. Previously, Yao worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Roche Sequencing USA, where they contributed to the development of algorithms for liquid biopsy and tumor monitoring. They also held the position of Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Illumina, leading projects focused on liquid biopsy products and algorithm refinement. Yao earned a PhD in Computational Biology from Yale University and a BS in Biology from Fudan University.
