Stephane Vannuffelen is an experienced technical leader in marine autonomy solutions, currently serving as the Marine Autonomy Solution Technical Director at Exail since August 2020. Responsibilities include consolidating the technology roadmap for the Drix USV family, establishing large-scale industrial and academic partnerships for R&D funding, and supporting complex technical proposals, particularly in the US market. Prior to Exail, Stephane held various roles at Schlumberger from November 1996 to May 2020, including Marine Robotics and Telemetry Program Manager, where oversight was provided for underwater autonomous vehicle initiatives, and Project Manager for the development of the Muzic acoustic telemetry system. With a strong background in research and development, including the design of cutting-edge optical systems and sensors, Stephane holds a degree in Physics from ESPCI Paris - PSL, completed in 1995.
