Thierry Simian is an experienced technical leader specializing in Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) project development. Currently serving as Technical Design Authority at Exail since November 2022, Thierry previously held similar roles at ECA Group from October 2014 to October 2022, where responsibilities also included leading the Electronic, Electrotechnic, and Automation Engineering division for ECA Robotics. With a strong foundation in hardware industrialization from TAGSYS, where roles included Hardware Industrialization Manager and RFID Project Manager, Thierry was involved in all stages of RFID product design and manufacturing. Earlier experience includes working as an R&D Engineer at GEMPLUS, focusing on radio reader design and algorithm development for RFID tag decoding. Thierry holds an engineering degree in Radio Communication and Digital Processing from ENSERG (INPG), obtained between 1995 and 1998.
