Michael Trounce

Michael Trounce is a seasoned finance professional with extensive expertise in emerging markets and flow research. Currently serving as a Global Client Advisor at Exante Data since September 2023, Michael is leading the development of FlowPro, a new platform focused on data and analytics for Emerging Market Debt. Previously, Michael founded Trounceflow, an alternative data vendor specializing in emerging markets, which operated from September 2016 to April 2024. Michael's background includes significant roles at Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibilities included delivering proprietary flows research and local market strategies, as well as leadership positions at J.P. Morgan and NOMURA BANK INTERNATIONAL PLC., providing strategic insights in rates and FX trading. Michael holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of York and degrees in Industrial Economics from the University of Warwick and Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
