Sofie Elliott is an experienced educator and entrepreneur currently serving as an MLL Specialist at Excel Academy Charter Schools and a Corps Member with Teach For America. Prior experience includes founding and owning Urgent English, as well as teaching English as a Second Language at Verbling and Berlitz Corporation, and at Landi English. Sofie holds a BA in Communications and French from the University of Washington and is pursuing two master's degrees: an MEd in Equity and Social Justice from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development and an MA in Applied Linguistics from Mary Immaculate College, Ireland.
