Tim Peterson

Tim Peterson serves as the CIO/CTO at Xcel Energy, where they drive business performance and productivity through digital transformation since 2019. Previously, Tim held various leadership positions, including President of CUNA Mutual AdvantEdge Analytics and Chief Information Officer at CUNA Mutual Group. Additionally, they contributed to the State of Iowa's Technology Advisory Council from 2012 to 2019 and are currently a board member for both the Minnesota Technology Association and the Science Museum of Minnesota. Tim holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a B.B.A from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, along with multiple certifications in information security.
