Matt Tigan is an experienced BIM Engineer currently working at Excel Engineering since January 2022. Prior to this role, Matt served as a BIM Consultant at Takeda from April 2018 to January 2022 and worked as a Structural Technician at TKDA from May 2011 to April 2018. Early in the career, Matt held positions as a Project Manager, Designer, and Sales professional at Fischerville Custom Cabinet Company and Eischen Cabinet Company, where responsibilities included managing project processes and collaborating with builders and clients. Matt's expertise also includes experience as a Timber Craftsman at Big Wood Timber Frames. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, an A.A.S. in Architectural Technology from Dakota County Technical College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Rhetoric & Persuasion from the University of St. Thomas.
