Excel Engineering
Mitch Cleveland is an experienced Senior Automation Engineer at Excel Engineering, specializing in the design, development, commissioning, qualification, and validation of cGMP batch process control systems. Since January 2016, Mitch has successfully led projects with budgets ranging from $250K to over $1M, managing teams of up to five engineers while estimating and planning project scopes. Prior to this role, Mitch was an Engineer Intern at Xcel Energy, where familiarity with combined cycle generation plants and water conservation analysis were gained. Mitch also worked as a Technical Aide at 3M, contributing to polymer synthesis in the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives group. Mitch holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and previously attended the University of Minnesota Duluth for the same field of study.
