Nathan Oakley has extensive experience in educational leadership and music education. Starting as a Band Director at Crystal Springs High School and continuing in similar roles at Forest High School and Brandon High School, Nathan transitioned to administrative positions, including Principal at Forest Elementary School and Director of Federal Programs at Simpson County School District. Nathan served in various capacities at the Mississippi Department of Education, culminating as Chief Academic Officer, and later took on leadership roles at AccelerateMS and ExcelinEd, focusing on K-12 innovation and policy development for college and career pathways. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership, along with degrees in Music Education and Education Leadership from Mississippi State University and The University of Southern Mississippi.
