Harminder Multani

Harminder Multani, MBA, MENG, has extensive experience in program and project management, specifically in new product development and engineering.

From November 2019 to the present, Multani has served as the Head of Program Management Office - Research & Development, UV & Biomedical at Excelitas Technologies Corp. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects, leading cross-functional teams, defining project goals and deliverables, and communicating with customers and stakeholders.

Prior to this, from July 2018 to November 2019, Multani worked as a Senior Program Manager - New Product Development at Excelitas Technologies Corp, where they focused on managing new product development projects and leading engineering project management teams.

Multani's previous experience includes working at Siemens as a Senior NPI Manager - New Product Development from February 2015 to April 2017, and at BlackBerry as a Program Manager - New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management from September 2012 to February 2014. They also held various roles at BlackBerry, including Project Manager, Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Specialist, and Radio Frequency Technician.

Earlier in their career, Multani worked at Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant Systems Engineer from March 2006 to December 2006, and at Bharti Airtel Limited as a Transmission Engineer from August 2005 to March 2006.

Harminder Multani holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Wilfrid Laurier University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2007 to 2008. Harminder also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Harminder completed their secondary education in Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1990 to 2001. Additionally, Harminder has obtained various certifications in areas such as risk management, product development, and leadership.
