B Burton White is the CEO of Excella. Burton has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry and has held various leadership positions during their career.

Most recently, they served as a Advisory Board Member at Edgemoor Investment Advisors from November 2017 to February 2021 where they advised the executive team on strategies for client engagement, operational excellence, and growth.

Prior to that, Burton served as a Board Member at Homestretch Incorporated from June 2009 to November 2016. Homestretch is a non-profit organization that helps homeless families gain self-sufficiency, family stability, and permanent affordable housing. Burton served as the Chairman of the Fundraising and Visibility subcommittee for Homestretch.

Burton co-founded Excella in 2002 and served as its CEO until 2016 when they transitioned to the role of Director of Technology Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for leading Excella’s technology practice and ensuring that the company’s technical solutions met the needs of its clients.

Before joining Excella, Burton worked at Accenture as a Senior Consultant from January 1991 to December 1993. Burton then joined Idea Integration in January 1993 and served as its Director of Technology Solutions from January 1993 to December 2001.

Burton has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.

Burton White received their Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia where they were an Echols Scholar. Burton then attended the Isidore Newman School.
