Vickey Chen

Vickey Chen is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Data Architect at Excella since February 2022, Vickey previously held positions as a Senior Data Engineer at CVP from January 2020 to March 2022, and as a Data Engineer at TISTA Science and Technology Corporation from September 2017 to January 2020. Vickey's expertise includes cloud-based, full-stack data engineering utilizing AWS, Databricks, Spark, Hive, Python, and Scala. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Lead Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton, Senior Oracle Database Admin/Data Architect at Digicon/NIH, and Senior Oracle DBA at Apptis, with foundational experience as an Oracle DBA at Intel Corporation. Vickey holds an MS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
