Leland Johnson has a wealth of experience in the technology and software industry. Leland began their career in 1998 as the President and CEO of Running Creek Group, Inc., an Internet consulting and software startup. Leland then moved on to National Flood Services in 2002 as Vice President, where they provided the overall product and technology vision of the organization, delivered several new products/solutions, and implemented the companies advanced multi-facility data center. In 2011, they joined EagleEye Analytics as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for the infrastructure and real-time software/technologies. In 2017, they took on the roles of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Wildfire Defense Systems, Inc., the national leader in insurer wildfire services. In 2018, they became a Director and Partner at Wildfire Defense Insurance Services. In 2019, they joined AudPop as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, and they also joined the Montana High Tech Business Alliance and Code Girls United as a Board Member. Finally, in 2023, they were appointed as the Director of Engineering at Ignis Technologies.
Leland Johnson attended the University of Wyoming, where they studied Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Leland obtained a Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS/UAV) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2017, and a Private Pilot Airplane Single Engine Land certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 1993. Leland also obtained a Certified Community Bank Technology Officer (CCBTO) certification from ICBA in October 2022. Lastly, they are in-process of obtaining a Private Pilot Airplane Multi-Engine Land certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
