Samarth T Setty, PhD, is an experienced bioinformatician with a strong academic and professional background in bioinformatics and computational biology. Recent roles include Technical Program Manager and Bioinformatics Scientist at Excelra, and previously, Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Rancho BioSciences. Samarth has held research positions at CHU de Québec and BC Cancer, where involvement included high-throughput bioinformatics projects and genomic analysis. Academic achievements include a PhD in Bioinformatics from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. Main, along with extensive research experience dating back to a Junior Research Fellow position at IGIB. Notably, Samarth received first prize at the AI Talent challenge for developing an AI solution addressing food wastage.
