Uzma Saeed

Uzma Saeed is an experienced professional in the field of bioinformatics and drug discovery, currently serving as Associate Director and Group Head of Biology at Excelra since April 2023. Prior to this, Uzma held the position of Senior Principal Investigator at Syngene International Limited, where leadership in oncology and inflammatory disorders projects was a key focus, managing a team of over 30 scientists. Uzma's career also includes significant roles at Integral BioSciences, Daiichi Sankyo, and earlier positions at Panacea Biotech and Vanderbilt University, where research spanned various aspects of drug discovery and neuroscience. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from National Brain Research Centre and postdoctoral training from Vanderbilt University.
