Puneet Sharma

Puneet Sharma has a strong work experience in the field of QA and test management. Puneet started their career at Wipro Limited in 2005 as a Senior Associate, where they provided technical support to US customers. Puneet then moved on to become a Senior Test Engineer, responsible for creating test cases, executing them, and logging defects in Quality Center. Puneet also took on the responsibility of setting up test data and creating test plans based on new change requests.

In 2011, Puneet joined Excelsoft Technologies as an Associate QA Lead. Here, they developed and maintained test methodology, defined test strategies for projects, and managed test management of various projects. Puneet played a key role in creating structured processes to manage defects till resolution. Puneet was later promoted to the role of QA Team Lead, where they managed multiple accounts, ensured quality deliverables to clients, defined quality processes, and set up defect tools. Puneet was also involved in requirement gathering, sprint planning, test planning, and defining test strategies across environments. Puneet excelled in implementing and reviewing test cases for functional, regression, system, integration, smoke, sanity, and feature level testing. Additionally, they had a strong focus on defect management and conducted root cause analysis.

Throughout their career, Puneet has consistently demonstrated their expertise in QA and test management, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Puneet Sharma has a strong educational background in computer science. Puneet obtained their M.C.A degree in Computer Science from Sahara Arts & Management Academy from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their B.Sc degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from D.A.V (PG) College from 1998 to 2001. Puneet then attended Vidhya Mandir Enter College from 1996 to 1998, where they earned their Intermediate degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Puneet completed their High School education in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from St. Mary School from 1990 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Puneet has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Puneet earned the Java Essentials certification from Simplilearn in October 2018. Puneet also holds the ISTQB foundation level certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, received in April 2016. Puneet's qualifications further include the Certified ScrumMaster® certification obtained from Scrum Alliance in July 2018.
