Daniel Nilsson

X-ray Scientist at Excillum

Daniel Nilsson is an experienced X-Ray Scientist at Excillum since February 2018, previously serving as a Development Engineer at Scint-X AB from November 2013 to January 2018, where work focused on developing structured scintillators for high-resolution x-ray detectors. Prior to these roles, Daniel was a PhD Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from October 2008 to September 2013, conducting research on the use of zone plate optics for focusing X-ray free-electron laser radiation. Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Physics and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, both obtained from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
