Ryan Butler

Ryan Butler is a Senior Substation Designer at ExecuPOWER LLC, focused on building a more reliable and sustainable power grid. With extensive experience in design, drafting, and engineering, Ryan specializes in electrical utility design, particularly in high and extra-high voltage substation design, including physical, protection, and control engineering. Previously, Ryan held various roles, such as Electrical Designer at Rhoades Engineering Corp and CAD Operator at Wolverine Power Cooperative, where they were responsible for high-voltage substation design and drafting. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and multiple associate degrees from Baker College, covering CAD, design technology, and architectural/construction technology. In their free time, Ryan enjoys golfing and participating in 5K races.
