David Bereson, CMPE

David Bereson, CMPE has over 25 years of work experience in various industries. In 1990, they started their career as an Operations Supervisor and Ski Patroller at Arizona Snowbowl Resort, where they managed a workforce of 60 employees and developed a training manual used by Acordia Insurance Company. In 1995, they joined Mountain Capital Partners as a Ski Patrol member and Training Officer, specializing in avalanche mitigation. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Licensed Insurance Agent at Guaranteed Reserve Life Insurance Company. In 2004, they became a Clinic Manager at EliteCare, overseeing the daily operations of a bracing and orthotics clinic.

In 2006, David joined Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, Ltd., where they held multiple positions over the years. As Director of Ancillary Services and Information Technology, they managed ancillary programs for a $30M healthcare organization and implemented electronic medical record software. Later, as Director of Business Development and Information Technology, they collaborated with physician teams to develop an Orthopaedic Service Line and managed the IT staff and information systems. In their role as Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics, they utilized big data and business intelligence tools to understand financial pressures on the independent practice and to design tools for a Value Based Care setting.

From 2019 to 2019, David worked as the Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. (HOPCo), focusing on data analysis and providing insights for the organization. In 2013, they established db Consulting & Services, where they provided executive healthcare consulting services with an emphasis on culture, process improvements, and change initiatives, and utilized data modeling and analytical tools.

Currently, David is the Director of Client Success (Northern Arizona) at Executech, where they are responsible for overseeing client relationships and ensuring their success.

David Bereson, CMPE, earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Northern Arizona University between 1990 and 1993. Their field of study included biology and communication. Prior to attending Northern Arizona University, David Bereson briefly attended the University of Maryland in 1989. In terms of additional certifications, they became Board Certified through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE) in September 2019. David also holds a Level 4 Coach certification from USA Hockey.
