Tyler Rasmussen

Tyler Rasmussen has a strong background in cybersecurity with experience ranging from 2009 to the present. Tyler is currently the VP of Cybersecurity at Executech, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to that, Tyler worked at The Cadence Group where they served as the Director of Cyber Risk Management from July 2020 to February 2021. Tyler also held various roles at The Cadence Group, such as Sr. Manager of Information Security Consultant from July 2017 to July 2020, and Sr. Information Security Consultant from September 2014 to June 2017. Before joining The Cadence Group, Tyler was an Information Security Engineer at Royal Bank of Scotland from May 2014 to September 2014 and an Information Security Analyst specializing in risk assessment from May 2013 to June 2014. Tyler began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior IT Auditor and Security Consultant from July 2009 to May 2013.

Tyler Rasmussen attended Brigham Young University from 2002 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems and Services. Tyler then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field at the same university from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they hold various certifications, including CISSP obtained in January 2014, CIPP/IT obtained in December 2012, and CISA obtained in October 2012. Tyler is also associated with the GIAC Certifications and holds the title of GIAC Advisory Board member and GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED).
