Samatar Jirde

Samatar Jirde is currently a Scientist IV in BioConjugation at Exelixis, where they develop and optimize antibody-drug conjugation processes for GxP production. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Associate at Metagenomi, focusing on high-throughput screening methods for gene editing enzymes. With a strong background in molecular biology, Samatar has held various roles in biotechnology, including Senior Associate Scientist positions at Amgen and in Drug Substance Technologies. They are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from California State University, Northridge.
