Ben Kao

Ben Kao is currently the Director of Safety and Environmental at Exelon, where they oversee initiatives to enhance safety and environmental standards. Prior to this role, Ben served as the Manager Utility Performance Assessment at Exelon, ensuring best practices across multiple utilities. Ben began their career as a Co-op Engineer at Cinergy and later held various engineering positions at ComEd. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Previously, Ben worked at PECO Energy, leading the Distribution Standards and Preventative Maintenance Programs department.
