Phil Stephenson

Phil Stephenson, CFA, CAIA, FRM, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in fixed income, liability-driven investment (LDI), and risk management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Exelon since December 2019, Phil focuses on building resilient fixed income portfolios and managing the company's liability hedging strategy. Prior to this role, Phil held various positions at Guggenheim Investments from September 2011 to December 2019, including Senior Portfolio Manager and Director, where responsibilities included managing operations related to investment accounting and asset securitization, as well as launching multiple fund products. Phil began his career in public accounting at Deloitte and KPMG, where audit practices for investment companies were a significant focus. Additionally, Phil served as a Supply Corps Officer in the US Navy, supporting logistical operations for an aircraft carrier battle group. Phil holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MSA in Accounting from DePaul Driehaus College of Business.
