Rick Gallagher

Rick Gallagher is an experienced Senior Reactor Operator at Exelon, holding this position since March 2013. Prior to this, Rick served as the Operations and Emergency Management Department Head at Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia, where effective leadership of high-visibility projects was demonstrated. While in the US Navy, Rick held several key roles, including Operations, Navigation, and IT Department Head, where supervision of 30 personnel and planning of submarine operations contributed to national security efforts. Rick also served as the Strategic Submarine Scheduling Officer, managing operational schedules for ballistic missile submarines, and progressed through various positions involving direct supervision of nuclear technicians and operational management. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, earned between 1998 and 2002.
