Robert West is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Executive and Vice President at Exelon since September 2003. In this role, Robert is responsible for policy creation and implementation during a period of organizational transition, including completing a strategic business model study exploring privatization and outsourcing options. Prior to Exelon, Robert held various positions at ComEd from March 1984 to September 2003, including Vice President of Operations, where responsibilities encompassed management of T&D strategy and a substantial capital budget, as well as oversight of engineering, fleet management, and project management. Earlier roles at ComEd included Manager of Transmission and Distribution Maintenance, where Robert developed a maintenance strategy, and Substation Leader, tasked with turnaround assessments of distressed business units. Robert began professional training as a Distribution District Engineer supervising local distribution system design. Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
