Steve Burger

Steve Burger is an experienced professional in the nuclear energy sector. They served in the US Navy as a Reactor Operator/Electronics Technician from 1986 to 1991, handling the operation and maintenance of a Naval nuclear reactor plant while training personnel. Burger later worked with Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation from 2000 to 2006 as an Equipment Operator/Radiological Controls Technician, overseeing radiological safety and environmental compliance. Currently, they are a Senior Reactor Operator at Exelon, ensuring the safe operation of the nuclear generating plant at Three Mile Island, and they hold the role of mentor for licensing training classes. In addition, Burger has been a Senior Operations Supervisor at CAMS since 2022.
