Markus Happe

Chief Technology Officer at Exeon Analytics

Markus Happe has a diverse work experience. From 2017-present, they have served as Chief Technology Officer, Chief Research Officer, and Chief Research Officer (Part Time) at Exeon Analytics. From 2015-2016, they were an FPGA Development Engineer at ABB. From 2016-present, they have served as a Senior Researcher (Part Time) at ETH Zurich. From 2013-2016, they were a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at ETH Zurich. From 2008-2013, they were a Research Associate at Universität Paderborn - University of Paderborn. During their PhD project, they participated in the EPiCS (EU Project), On-the-Fly Computing (DFG CRC 901), and SMASH (DFG SPP 1500) research projects. From 2008-2008, they were a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Arkansas.

Markus Happe completed their education history beginning with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Paderborn University from 2002 to 2006. Markus then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Paderborn University from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they earned their PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Computer Engineering from Paderborn University from 2008 to 2013.
