Andy Johnston

Andy Johnston has extensive experience in the venture capital and startup ecosystem. Andy is currently the Co-Founder and Partner at Node.vc, a company they started in 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Brightly Ventures in 2018, where they served as a Partner. At Brightly Ventures, they focused on supporting early-stage Nordic technology teams and companies. Andy has also served as an Angel Investor and Advisor at AirForestry since 2021. Additionally, Andy has held various director and board positions at EVAM, Worldfavor, Exeri - Smart Grid Surveillance, Frequencz, Artportable, and Debricked, providing strategic guidance and support to these companies. Andy has also invested as an angel investor and advisor at Codeball. Overall, Andy's work experience showcases their expertise in entrepreneurship, investing, and supporting early-stage companies.

Andy Johnston attended Dublin City University from 1989 to 1993. Andy obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science/Computer Applications. In August 2005, they also received certification as an Ericsson Certified Senior Solution Architect from Ericsson.
