Michael Garrett

Michael Garrett is a seasoned biotechnology entrepreneur with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Key positions include Managing Partner at Genavent, Chief Business Officer at EnBiotix, and Chief Executive Officer at both ExeVir and Flamingo Therapeutics. Michael also held roles as Vice President of Corporate Development at Scynexis and Vice President of Ventures at BTG, among others. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Southampton, a Cedep General Management Programme from INSEAD, and training in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary, University of London. Michael currently owns Shothanger Consulting and contributes to the Technology Commercialization Group as a partner.
