Ignacio Alvarez

Ignacio Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Ignacio currently holds the position of Lead UX Designer at EXFO since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at ServiceNow from January 2021 to February 2021. Ignacio served as a Senior UX Designer at Element AI from October 2018 to January 2021. Before that, Ignacio worked at JDA Labs as a Senior UX Designer from March 2018 to September 2018 and as a UX Designer from June 2014 to March 2018. Prior to these roles, they worked as a UX Designer at IDE3S Inc from July 2012 to May 2014 and as a Stage UX Designer at Yu Centrik in May 2012. Ignacio also gained experience as a Contract Student (intern) at Hôpital Sainte Justine in June 2010 and as a Graphic Design Contractor at Acfas - Association francophone pour le savoir from March 2010 to April 2010. Ignacio started their career as a Gestionnaire du comité d'exposition at Université de Montreal from September 2009 to April 2010. Ignacio also served as an Assistant Researcher at HIS from May 2009 to August 2009.

Ignacio Alvarez completed their education with a Master's Degree in Design and Complexity from the Université de Montréal, which they earned from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from the same university, completing it from 2007 to 2011. Ignacio also attended College Jean-de-Brébeuf from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a DEC in Science Pure et Appliquée.
