Pierre Frechette

Pierre Frechette is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development and engineering management. Currently serving as DevOps Director at EXFO since January 2004, Pierre leads R&D initiatives in areas such as Big Data, Analytics, and Wireless Network simulation, overseeing a team of over 200 engineers across multiple locations. Prior to EXFO, Pierre held the position of Engineering Manager at Tellabs, where responsibilities included managing a 60-engineer team focused on telecommunications products for European and North American markets. Earlier career roles include Team Lead positions at ABL and Spar Aerospace, as well as an engineering role at Matrox. Pierre holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
