Dr. Steve Gandy

Dr. Steve Gandy has extensive work experience in the field of global business development, sales, and operations. Dr. Steve held the position of VP Global Business Development at exida.com and exida Consulting LLC since 2012. Prior to that, they worked at Metso Automation from 2001 to 2012, where they served as VP Sales & Operations Asia. In this role, they were responsible for directing global sales and Asian operations functions, overseeing a team of 50 staff members worldwide. Before joining Metso Automation, Dr. Gandy held the position of Regional Director at Metso Automation Max Control, Inc from 1998 to 2001, where they focused on business development, sales, and marketing strategies in the Asia Pacific region. Dr. Steve also served as Director of Special Projects at ICS Triplex from 1996 to 1997, managing VP's of R&D. Additionally, Dr. Gandy was the General Manager at Industrial Control Services Technology Ltd. from 1994 to 1996, where they led a team of 25 and was responsible for R&D, operations, and client relationships in the field of industrial controls and safety systems.

Dr. Steve Gandy holds an MBA from The Open University, where they specialized in Creative Management, Strategic Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, and Corporate Finance. Dr. Steve also obtained a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Chelmsford Institute of Higher Education. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Gandy has received professional training in Management and Leadership. Dr. Steve also holds a certification as a Certified Functional Safety Professional from the CFSE Board.
