Sam Chalise is a seasoned process safety engineer with extensive experience in quality control and process optimization. Currently employed at Smith & Burgess since September 2018, Sam previously worked at Sika USA, where responsibilities included developing quality standards and improving production processes. As a team leader for the Design of Experiment (DOE) for the Batch Process at Prairie View A&M University, Sam successfully guided a team in utilizing batch reaction operations. Additionally, Sam has held roles as a research assistant and led a senior design project focused on designing a grassroot plant for cumene production. Sam's early experience includes an internship at Chemical Incorporated, where focus was on optimizing chemical process systems. Sam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Houston Community College.
