Csaba Simon

Csaba Simon currently serves as the Head of Medium/Long Term Export Financing and Credit Insurance at EXIM Hungary since April 2022. Previously, Simon held the position of Head of Trade Finance Department at Sberbank Hungary from February 2013 to April 2022 and worked as a Financial Advisor specializing in export financing at Aktivum from September 2012 to February 2013. Simon was the Managing Director responsible for sales, marketing, and product development at Hungarian Export Credit Insurance Pte. Ltd. from May 1997 to July 2012 and served as chairman of the Berne Union Prague Club from June 2007 to June 2009, a network focused on export credit and investment insurance. Earlier career experiences include managerial roles at Extertrade Trading Ltd. and area manager at Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank Ltd. Education includes a university degree in foreign economy and trade from the University of Economics, Budapest, and a final pre-degree certificate in Law from Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
