Nicholas Defteras

Nicholas Defteras possesses extensive experience in the finance and banking sectors, serving as Chief Executive Officer at ForexTime (FXTM) since May 2014, alongside previous roles as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. In addition, Nicholas holds a position as Independent Non-Executive Director at the National Bank of Greece since May 2018 and was a member of the Governing Council at The Cyprus Institute of Marketing until November 2023. Prior career positions include Business Development Manager at Amicorp Group, Director and Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Renaissance Capital, Head of Finance at Depfa Bank, and roles at Ernst & Young and Chantrey Vellacott DFK as a trainee chartered accountant. Nicholas Defteras earned a BSc Econ Hons in Economics from UCL between 1996 and 1999.
