Jochen Schmiedbauer

Jochen Schmiedbauer began their career in 2001 as an IT Consultant at Siemens, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they held roles such as Service Owner Reporting, Global Information Management Strategy, Reporting Common Service, High Level Requirements Analysis, and Direct Customer Interaction with RFQ/RFP. Jochen was also accountable for a 3 million euro Opex budget. In 2005, they joined APM Terminals as an IT Project Leader and Senior Application Manager, and System Administrator/Engineer. In 2011, they moved to Atos, where they held roles such as Distinguished Expert Atos Expert Community, Global Solutions Architect, and Service/Product Owner Reporting. In 2015, they founded Optimal Wavelength Coaching, and in 2020, they co-founded and became Managing Director of ExistBI Germany.

Jochen Schmiedbauer has an extensive education history. Jochen completed a Gold For Technology Leaders degree at the University of Cambridge in 2018, an Innovation of Products and Services: MIT's Approach to Design Thinking degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017, and a Data Science field of study at The Johns Hopkins University in 2015. Jochen also completed an Enhanced Narrative Coaching program at The Creating WE Institute and WBECS (World Business and Executive Coaching Summit) in 2018, an Enhanced Skills Practitioner of Conversational Intelligence\u00ae for Coaches (2016) program at the same institute in 2016, an ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2009-2010, an International Management and Leadership Development Program at APM Moeller Maersk/APM Terminals in 2007-2009, a Sinology: Chinese Language and Culture degree at Ghent University in 1998-2000, a Computer Science degree at HOGENT in 1997-1998, a Psychology field of study at Ghent University in 1996-1997, and an Economics and modern languages field of study at KA III Assebroek in 1991-1996.
