Nick Saroka, CPP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick began their career in 1999 as a Reconnaissance Team Leader/Member in the United States Marine Corps. In 2007, they joined the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) as a Special Operations Operator, where they served for over 12 years. In 2019, Nick transitioned to the role of Senior Special Operations Advisor (Master Gunnery Sergeant) at the United States Marine Corps and held this position until 2022. Following their military service, they worked at The Coca-Cola Company as a Global Security & Asset Protection Fellow for six months. Currently, they serve as the Director of Operations at Exlog Global, starting in 2023.
Nick Saroka, CPP, has an extensive education history. Nick obtained a Master of Science degree in Security Management from the University of Denver in 2021. In 2019, they received a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the American Military University. Prior to their higher education, Nick attended Brookwood High School from 1995 to 1999.
Aside from their formal education, Nick has also earned several certifications. Nick is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International, a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute), and holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they have obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA. Nick further enhanced their skills in business continuity by completing a course called CORe at the Harvard Business School in 2022, and they also pursued studies in business continuity at the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRI) during the same year.
